Dantzaz Exploradora is a digital publication that compiles, through interviews, audiovisual documents, programmes, reviews and testimonies, the historical memory of the last 20 years of contemporary dance in the Basque Country through Dantzaz.

Dantzaz also carries out an intense work of documentation and reflection on contemporary dance practices that broadens the sphere and limits of its work.

Publications aimed at the professional sector, materials for audiences, didactic guides and pedagogical content for the school community, and evaluation and measurement strategies are some of the materials we will soon share in this section.

Since its origins, Dantzaz has looked to the body as the raw material necessary for conserving and transmitting its artistic legacy. The company has based its continuity on the memories of the body of those choreographers who have filled it with experiences and has shared this vision with photography and audiovisual professionals who have documented in images the company’s rehearsals, its productions and other proposals for mediation and community action. This work has been structured over time to build a repository of undeniable documentary value that Dantzaz makes available to spectators and professionals in the sector.
