Dantzaz, in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), is launching the Contemporary Dance for Educational Improvement micro-credential. This innovative 2 ECTS credit course combines theory and practice to explore how contemporary dance can transform teaching. The program, which will take place between March 1st and April 5th, 2025, is designed for faculty, students and professionals who are older than 25 and interested in integrating art and creativity in educational contexts. The micro-credential seeks to overcome barriers that have historically hindered the inclusion of the arts in curricula by offering training that combines academic rigor with artistic practice.

Why participate?

Over the course of five sessions, participants will learn:

  • To incorporate dance as a pedagogical tool to enrich teaching processes.

  • Contemporary dance techniques adapted to educational contexts.

  • To design innovative methodologies that combine movement, creativity and learning.

  • Strategies to critically reflect on educational practices and foster collaborative work.

The micro-credential is aligned with Level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), offering specialized and practical training that fosters creativity, innovation and critical thinking.

Hybrid and collaborative methodology

The course combines theory and practice, balancing dynamic and reflective sessions led by dance and education professionals.
