Dantzaz participates in Embodied Transformations, the New EDN project

We are thrilled to announce our participation in Embodied Transformations, a groundbreaking initiative by the European Dance Network (EDN). This EU-funded project, running from 2025 to 2028, aims to redefine the future of contemporary dance across Europe by fostering sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation.

EMBODIED TRANSFORMATIONS

A project to transform dance

Embodied Transformations is built around five key goals that resonate deeply with Dantzaz’s mission:

  • Fair working Conditions: Exploring sustainable living and working models for dance professionals.
  • Youth & Community Engagement: Innovating methods to connect with communities while addressing mental health.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Reducing the ecological footprint of dance practices.
  • Global Collaboration: Building equitable international partnerships.
  • Digital Innovation: Expanding creative possibilities through technology.

Why It Matters

This initiative isn’t just about dance—it’s about empowering the people who make it possible. By being part of Embodied Transformations, Dantzaz contributes to a collective voice that amplifies the role of contemporary dance in European culture, ensuring it remains vibrant, innovative, and accessible to all.
