The Atalak network organized the research laboratory El Encuentro from March 22 to 28, directed by the dancer, pedagogue and performer Joseba Yerro.

In the laboratory, Yerro deepened his knowledge of the body and movement, based on experiences with Hofesh Shechter, Saburo Teshigawara, Gaga, Feldenkrais and Gestalt techniques.

One of the main objectives of this project was to blur the barriers between performer and audience, generating an interesting conversation between them.

On March 28, an opening session of the laboratory was held at Gipuzkoako Dantzagunea to share the research findings. More openings will be held in the near future:

  • April 3rd, at Gare du Midi in Biarritz, at 19:00. Registration here: https://labur.eus/yerro-gare-midi
  • April 23, at the Cultural Center Tafalla Kulturgunea, at 19:00. Free admission until full capacity is reached.
  • On April 25 at the Museum of Navarra, in Pamplona, at 18:30.
