Open call for DNA 2025 artistic residencies

The General Direction of Culture – Institución Príncipe de Viana, in collaboration with the Baluarte Foundation, has launched the call for the DNA 2025 Artistic Residency Program for Creation and/or Research, aimed at contemporary dance professionals from Navarre or linked to the region. This program aims to promote creativity, cultural mediation and community building around dance.

EMBODIED TRANSFORMATIONS

What do the residencies offer?

  • Duration: 4 weeks, between May and September 2025 (they do not need to be consecutive).
  • Financial endowment:
    • 8.000€ + VAT for projects outside metropolitan areas.
    • 6,000 + VAT for projects in urban areas of the Navarra Theater Network.
  • Support: A technical team from the Cultural Action Service will monitor the selected projects. In addition, a person from the sector will provide creative support.
  • Visibility: Presentation of the projects at the DNA 2026 festival.

Who can participate?

  • Contemporary dance professionals from Navarra.

What is expected of the projects?

  • An original idea that explores contemporary dance.
  • Mediation activities to bring the project closer to local audiences.
  • Actions that encourage new audiences and connect with the community.
